Ahhhh....I hope the turtle is OK :-)

Now, Miss Shana - your question? Have you clicked on "post and publish" before you view? And have you refreshed?

Okay. When I am in the "Post to the Pony Blog" screen view, the top part of the screen is where I type, most of the bottom part of the screen shows the last 5 posts and the other part of the bottom screen shows the month. The top part, where I type, remains when I click on your link to view the actual web page. Why? Is it cause it's in the blog window itself?

Forgot to tell y'all about yesterday morning on my way to work. The one part of the highway where the Veterans Expressway is merged with 2 on-ramps on either side of it, one of which is itself a merge, the other is a four-lane merge into three so that two lanes can shoot off to Clearwater on Route 60 (this is an extremely popular route to work - everone in Tampa is required by city regulation to use it) I, merging cautiously on the easternmost side of the highway going south saw a tortoise in the road. Not a dead one - a live one. A live one who was trying to cross the road. I mean, the highway. All (at that point) seven lanes of it full of cars all trying to do 60 mph and cut off the guy or gal in the SUV next to them. I slowed down for the tortoise (it was NOT a turtle) for two very good reasons. One, if I had hit it with my new car, just imagine the damage it would do! Two, I might have hurt it!

I considered getting out to carry the tortoise back to the side of the road, but realized that I would then have made the worst mistake possible: stopping traffic on this ultra-busy highway just to save a tortoise that really only wanted to go to the bay. So, I stopped, slowly avoided it, then drove on to work, trusting that my braking had alerted the drivers behind me to some unknown obstacle in the roadway.

It's a day later, and I wonder if the tortoise made it.

Hmm.... is the top part of the screen supposed to stick around forever?

And why is it that when I'm settled on the sofa, the VP debates on the TV and a cool picture book on my lap, CHRIS decides it's time to do bills? Which wouldn't be so bad, except he ends up needing me to come upstairs to talk to one of the guys on the phone because it's my credit card and the guy won't talk to Chris. Okay, fine. Except Chris wants me to discuss some incredibly complicated stuff about the terms of the account and interest rates and all that as they are affected by when he posts the payment. Then, when the guy says not to worry, he'll put a note on the account not to change the status (because he's paying via Internet) Chris wants a name, ID number, a guarantee and other stuff so he can call this guy back or something later on or something only I'm like - you didn't give me anything to write on, why didn't you get the info first, you never worry about this info when it's really important and he was getting all angry and upset with me because I didn't understand his question (I simplified it for your benefit - trust me, he was not clear).

So I hung up with the guy on the phone.

Chris got all huffy "I guess you don't want to help me."

"I guess I don't!" I shouted as I returned to my previously-scheduled evening activity.

He screamed something else at me, but I paid him no attention whatsoever. Sometime later, he came downstairs and tried to make nice, but I pretty much ignored him. I'm still angry. Why get upset at me for not understanding his question? He gives me 50 words to repeat back to the guy on the phone w/o giving me a chance to memorize them, or get the gist of them, or anything like that. So - screw him! Who needs this? Not me, sister! Not me!!

Deb - all I see is the yellow stripe down the side. That's it, right? Of course, I still have the post part up above, even when I jumped to look at the way-cool wolf picture. Is that right?

I saw the wolfie stuff - very pretty!!

I'm Pony Blogging! I guess the next test will be to see if I can find my way back!

I'm so sorry!!!!

Hitting that "view web page" thing does NOT work at all - so click HERE and you will see :-)

((((hugs))))))

DebbbbbbbRAAAAA!!!

AUGH!!

I just want to see the page as it's supposed to look.

Is that so wrong?

AURGH!! How come when I click on "view web page" it gives me the old 'there is no page like this, you idiot!' error message?

WAAAAAH!

And it's STILL saying I live in the Pacific Time Zone....

Damn! but I'm cranky!

Sigh... it's late. For me, anyway. I need to go to sleep. So why am I here? I'm not sure... anyone have a guess?

I'm all cranky, you know? It's THAT time of the month almost and I'm raging at everything. Typical. And this weekend, Chris'll be home for four days straight and I'LL be bleeding all over myself. Yummy. He's not feeling well, I'm cranky and could use a good bed-romping and by the time he's ready, I'll be soaking the sheets with anything BUT the 'fun' stuff.

okay - maybe I'm being a little gross, but can any of y'all tell me this is worse than seeing a cat in dominatrix gear?

OK - new test of new graphics...

oh - but don't put spaces in - added spaces so they would show :-)

Hm. No such luck. Eh. Oh, well. I'm off to do my usual runaround the web. Bye for now!

ARGH! I can't believe I made it here.

Let's see.... I'm supposed to comment on the layout, right? Well... I like these graphics! (gee... wonder why?)

As for me... I'm recovering from my lack of sleeping this weekend. Recovering slowly, that is. I didn't check my messages until I went to bed last night (SORRY, DEB!) but it wouldn't have really mattered, cause Chris & I were out getting dinner and groceries.

Which leads me to a question. When I say I want something "quick" for dinner so I can get home at a reasonable time and go back to sleep, why does he always choose the chicken wing place with the horrid service? I'm sure it isn't intentional. That would be just too cruel. Chris can NOT be cruel. He's like DQ in that way. Honest!

He's jealous about not going last weekend, too. Maybe Deb and he should have been commiserating about it?
